Every year, when the newest NBA 2K is released, people are complaining about it. While it was the defense in 2K19, 2K20’s biggest issue are unskippable mid-game ads, even though fans bought the game at full price.
2K already tried this last year, but after a backlash, they had to remove the ads. Well, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, but the ads have returned again this year.
The ads vary from Oculus products to even political ones.

What's up with ads on NBA 2K 21? People paying for a game thats basically the same every year isn't enough? Now gamers have faster load times because of SSDs and the game publisher puts ads on those screens too. Not a great idea at all.
